Description
Ajinomoto Low Salt Hondashi delivers the same rich bonito-forward flavor as the original Hondashi with 60 percent less salt. It is crafted with three types of specially smoked katsuobushi (bonito flakes) by skilled artisans, combined with Ajinomoto's proprietary Yasashio low-sodium technology. The result is a dashi with the deep concentrated umami and aroma of bonito, but in a more heart-conscious form. Featured on the Japanese Society of Hypertension's reduced-salt food list, it is ideal for miso soup, simmered dishes, takikomi rice, and any recipe where you want authentic flavor with less sodium.
